Terms of Service - F3 Lake Norman

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the F3 Lake Norman mobile applications or website (f3lakenorman.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not access or use the platform.

⚠️ 2. Fitness Disclaimer & Assumption of Risk

F3 workouts are free of charge, open to all men, held outdoors in all weather conditions, and led by peer volunteers ("Qs") who are not certified personal trainers, medical professionals, or fitness instructors.

Participation in physical fitness activities carries inherent risks of injury, including but not limited to sprains, fractures, heat exhaustion, cardiac events, or vehicular accidents. You understand and expressly agree that:

You participate entirely at your own risk and are responsible for modifying exercises to suit your own physical capabilities ("Modify as necessary").
You should consult with a physician prior to commencing any rigorous exercise program.
F3 Lake Norman, its volunteer leaders, and AO hosts assume no liability for personal injury, illness, or property damage incurred during or traveling to/from workouts or events.

3. Community Standards & Acceptable Use

Our platform provides community communication tools, including workout preblasts, backblasts, discussion channels (1st F Fitness, 2nd F Fellowship, 3rd F Faith), and direct messaging. To ensure a safe, uplifting community:

Zero Tolerance for Harassment: Hate speech, harassment, defamation, threats, sexually explicit material, or unlawful content is strictly prohibited.
Content Moderation: Moderators and administrators reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any content that violates these guidelines and suspend or terminate offending accounts.
Authentic Identity: Accounts must be created by genuine participants. Impersonating another PAX or fabricating emergency alert notifications is grounds for immediate termination.

4. Emergency Field Safety Feature

The emergency contact alert tool is provided as a community courtesy to notify emergency contacts and site safety leads via SMS and Discord during critical on-field incidents. This feature does not replace 911 or emergency medical services. In any life-threatening situation, always call 911 immediately before utilizing app notifications.

5. User Accounts & Right of Deletion

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You may permanently delete your account and personal data at any time directly through your account profile page or by contacting [email protected].
